Electrolux leaves Russia, passes business to executives

MOSCOW, Jul 11 (PRIME) -- Swedish household appliance producer Electrolux Professional is leaving the Russian market and passing the business to executives, according to a press release published Monday.

"Following the assessment that business continuity in Russia, in the current situation, is not feasible, Electrolux Professional is to cease its operations in the country," the company said.

Sales in Russia accounted for about 1% of Electrolux's total sales in 2021.
